Vodafone Mobile Broadband (Free Laptop) Description
Vodafone offers a mobile broadband package with minimal fuss – you don’t even have to own a laptop. For a fixed monthly fee, on a 24-month contract, Vodafone will give you a Dell Inspiron Mini Laptop. It comes with in-built mobile broadband – which means no wires, no separate modems or even dongles. The laptop can simply connect whenever, wherever you are. This could be at home or on the go.
The laptop itself is super portable, measuring just 9.1 x 6.7 inches and weighing less than a kilo. It comes with Windows XP as the standard operating system, with 1GB of RAM and an 8GB hard drive. The display measures 8.9” and includes a webcam. The Dell Inspiron Mini’s in-built mobile broadband allows you to connect to the internet at speeds of up to 7.2Mb – which means you get mobile broadband at home broadband speeds, and with approximately 80% UK coverage, you’ll be sure to get a connection.
The offer is available on 2 price plans. The first allows you 1GB data allowance, at a monthly cost of £25. This is equivalent to surfing for around 30 hours, downloading 60 music tracks or sending 600 emails. You can choose to upgrade to the second option, which gets you 3GB of data allowance for just £30 a month. This roughly equates to 100 hours of web browsing, sending 200 emails or downloading 200 songs.
You can order online or over the phone, and your Dell Inspiron Mini is delivered free of charge. You’ll also get a 14-day money back guarantee if the plan turns out not to suit your needs.
