Virgin Media L (Cable) Description

Virgin Media L is Virgin’s mid-range phone and broadband package, It’s ideal for families, large households or heavy net users as it has unlimited monthly downloads and optimal speed surfing, which means it’s great for downloading photos and music.

You’ll get a free wireless router on the plan, so you can connect and download anywhere in your home at generous speeds of up to 10Mb. Essentially, this speed will allow you to download a single music track in less than 10 seconds. The plan comes with 15 free email addresses and 55MB of web space, meaning plenty of emails for the family, and scope to create your own web page.

All Virgin Media Home Broadband packages size L and above come with PC Guard Total as standard. This is an incredibly high standard of PC security and comes with firewall, anti-spyware, anti-virus, pop-up blocker, privacy manager, identity theft protection and parental controls, meaning you can control and monitor what your kids access online.

The plan is available at £16 per month when taken with a Virgin phone line at £11 per month. However, Virgin is currently offering their L Broadband at half price for the first 6 months, so you pay only £8 a month (reverting to £16 thereafter).
