Tiscali’s Broadband Talk & TV (Anytime Calls) package is a perfect all-round family home product covering all your needs for these three media. Your phone line rental is free and all you have to pay is £19.99 for 3 months and £24.99 thereafter. There is a one-off installation fee of just £30 but for the price you pay the product offers you plenty of freebies.
You’ll get a free wireless router when you sign up, with a respectable broadband connection speed of 8Mb and unlimited downloads. You’ll also get a free set top box for your TV, which gives you access to Tiscali’s Variety Pack of 70 popular digital channels. You can also access 7-day catch-up TV and a 1500-strong library of films (starting at £1.99 to view anytime you want).
When it comes to your phone line, you needn’t worry about a change of phone number, as you can keep your existing one. All landline calls to the UK and 10 international destinations are free, and calls to mobiles in the USA and Canada are also free.
All you need to switch is a MAC code from your current supplier, which can be obtained by calling them. You then give Tiscali the code and they will do the rest, including sending a technician to set up your set top box and wireless router.
