Sky Broadband & TV - £22 Description

Sky offers a perfect family household package including TV and broadband. It’s ideal if you already have a phone plan you’re happy with as this doesn’t have to be included, however, it is an option that can be added should you need it.

For just £22 a month you’ll receive Sky’s basic TV package and their midrange broadband plan. Your standard Sky TV box is free of charge (though a one-off £30 set up fee does apply), but can be upgraded to a Sky+ for just £99. The Sky+ box does not require a set-up fee. Further still, you can upgrade to a Sky+ HD box for £99, plus a £30 set-up charge. The basic Sky Variety package allows you access to 18 digital channels on top of your regular terrestrial channels. These 18 channels are some of the most popular around, including Sky 1 and LIVING TV.

The broadband element of the plan is Sky’s midrange broadband deal. It allows you to connect and download at speeds of up to 8Mb, and you’ll receive a massive 40GB download allowance. This makes it the ideal family broadband plan for general browsing and downloading. You’ll be given a wireless router free of charge for your broadband connection, and McAfee Internet Security Suite (worth £49.99) to ensure you and your family are protected. Mac users will also be catered for and will benefit from McAfee Anti-Virus Scan software worth £19.99.

The £22 TV and Broadband package is available on a fixed 12-month contract with Sky TV. However, Sky currently offers all new customers £15 off their first bill.
