Mobile Broadband and memory stick in one stylish device

Sony Ericsson have unveiled the first HSPA USB modems of their kind; the MD400 and the MD400g. These unique dual function devices provide high speed broadband, in combination with a useful M2 memory stick microTM.

Targeted at the ever increasing number of people who want internet access on the move, these convenient modems allow people to keep in touch with clients, colleagues, family and friends. It’s the HSPA technology that gives the extra speed. It allows users to download up to 7.2Mb and upload up to 2.0Mb – if these speeds are supported by your network. This makes emailing attachments, images and video content easier and up to five times faster than before.

Slick and stylish, the MD400 and MD400g also contain a number of ingenious features streamlined into the design. Each device contains a handy microSD TM slot for your memory card. A dual antenna system helps to enhance performance; a built in antenna and a retractable swivel antenna help to improve reception and sending and receiving of data. Closing the swivel antenna has the advantage of completely covering and protecting the USB port.

It helps when you’re out and about to know exactly where you are, so the built in GPS contained within the MD400g is really useful. It connects directly to Google mapsTM, so you check your exact current location.

These high performance devices take broadband out of the office and home, to wherever you’re roaming. They slot simply into your USB port and the multiple technologies guarantee broadband access every time.

The dual functionality really makes these devices stand out from the crowd – and the contemporary design helps to make them a pleasure to use too
