BT Option 3 Description

BT's Broadband Option 3 includes a free BT Home Hub Wireless Router that connects to your existing BT phone line. Your cordless telephone handset slots into the device, and it allows you to connect safely to the web using laptops, PCs or gaming consoles. Crucially, the hub has a built-in firewall and automatic security updates, meaning you're protected at all times.

The broadband connection is fast and reliable at a decent speed of 8MB and you'll receive unlimited download usage. You'll benefit from a 5GB free online storage vault, in which you can keep your valuable folders and files as extra backup. The "My Offers" section of BT Broadband also gives you a range of online offers on travel, leisure, food and drink (up to 25% off on selected deals). In addition, you receive 500 monthly minutes of WiFi time for every month of your contract, meaning you can connect to any of BT's Openzone WiFi hotspots across the UK for no extra charge.

The plan offers you free UK evening and weekend calls, and competitive daytime calls at 4p a minute to landlines and 7.5p to mobiles. The Option 3 package is available on both 12 and 18 month contract terms. You can benefit from a reduced price of £18.99 for the first 3 months (£24.99 per month thereafter) on the 18 month contract, or alternatively choose a 12 month contract for a fixed £24.99 per month. The plan also includes a free-of-charge helpline, conveniently available 24/7.
