Our View
Toucan is one of the lesser-known internet service providers (ISPs) but, if you’re looking to
combine broadband with fixed-line rental, it is definitely a provider to consider.
Home phone and broadband bundle packages from Toucan are very competitive; with line rental from only £8.99 a month, plus cheap call charges. If you’re going to rely heavily on your phone line, as well as broadband, Toucan could bring you great savings.
Toucan provides both residential and business broadband packages, and can offer customers broadband at two different speeds – 512K or up to 8MB. Toucan packages are generally simple
to understand, and offer flexibility. For these reasons Toucan is ideal for broadband newcomers or anyone not wanting to be confused by too many options. The broadband contract length is fairly standard - 12 months – although bear in mind a few ISPs now offer less committal one-month broadband contracts.
Toucan offers broadband customer support, so your queries can be put to the Toucan technical team directly. Toucan customer service lines are open seven days a week (8am to 9pm Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm weekends), and its broadband technical support centre from 8am to midnight every day. Unlike some leading ISPs, the Toucan customer service team is not UK based. Toucan does offer a thorough broadband question-and-answer section online, should you prefer to
self-solve your broadband queries.
Company History

Unlike many leading ISPs, Toucan does not yet have any published broadband industry awards to its name.
