Eclipse launches customisable broadband
The highly acclaimed broadband provider Eclipse has announced that it will launch a brand new range of broadband products which can be controlled by customers to suit their individual broadband needs.
Waving their ISPA 'Best Business ISP' flag, Eclipse is trying to focus on meeting the broadband needs of users looking for more control over how their broadband is provided. The new broadband services are being introduced to both business broadband and consumer broadband users and will offer new levels in broadband flexibility.
The customer controlled broadband services will provide a unique interface known as the broadband dashboard. This feature will enable users to alter the priority of their broadband bandwidth for different services such as browsing, email, file sharing, gaming or networking. So, for example, workers using broadband from home could optimise their broadband settings to achieve the best possible connection to their company VPN, while online gamers could prioritise their broadband settings to gaming over any other broadband activity.
Additional broadband functionality available from the products will allow users to set broadband allowance usages, which means broadband customers will only have to pay for the broadband they use. Eclipse claims that this will supposedly allow customers to enjoy much faster broadband than achievable with unlimited broadband services. It is also said that the new products will respond to customer feedback and general online trends.
